Enamel keychain made in Germany
Enamel has seen a strong revival in recent years—and it's easy to understand why. It has a charm all its own, always accompanied by a gentle breeze of nostalgia...
On top of that, there are few materials as sustainable: enamel production has a low environmental impact and the final product is 100% recyclable.
These keychains are made in Germany.
Unlike cheaper enamel products where the design is simply printed on, the motif on these keychains is fired into the surface, making it highly resistant to scratches and wear—an important quality for something that lives in your pocket or bag.
That said, enamel is a fusion of glass and metal, so chips may occur if dropped on hard surfaces like stone. These little marks are part of the material’s character and will gradually turn each keychain into a one-of-a-kind piece.
Enamel is made by fusing iron with silicate-based glass at 850°C.
Only natural materials are used in the production: iron, quartz, clay, feldspar, borax, soda, potash, and trace amounts of metal oxides.
Enamel is 100% recyclable and can be disposed of with scrap metal.
